(… get it in writing …)
Although the music of the Dixie Dregs would constitute a very interesting study subject for musicians, only little of it has been published in print.
At least for some pieces, the guitar parts have been transcribed (apparently, due to the high reputation of Steve Morse among guitar players and students). Some of these were published in guitar magazines long ago, which means that they are not available anymore.
Very few transcriptions were included in YouTube Videos (Hemme Luttjeboer did a great job in this regard, including all instruments on “Pride O’ The Farm” and “Little Kids”).
There are some Dregs pieces of which MIDI files or guitar tabs can be found online, often incomplete, often of unknown origin.

On a personal note:
For many years, I have been trying to find and archive as many transcriptions of the Dregs’ music as possible. However, there might be many of them around that I have not come across yet …
So I’d like to ask you, readers of this website, to help me by sending links to, or scans of:
• MIDI files,
• guitar or bass tablatures,
• sheet music / scores
to this email address:
Thank you very much!
Depending on the feedback, I might present a selection of links to online resources here in the future.
